Orange County Optometric Society

The Orange County Optometric Society (OCOS) is the regional division of the California Optometric Association (COA) in -- Orange County.  Neighboring local societies include Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Rio Hondo, South Bay and San Diego.  When you join COA, your membership includes membership in the American Optometric Association (AOA) and membership in a local society such as OCOS.

The Orange County Optometric Society's Mission is to promote the highest standards in health and vision care through quality education, political action and public awareness.  Society members practice in a variety of settings including: solo and group practice, medical groups, hospitals and specialty clinics such as laser eye centers.  Some members conduct research in industrial settings while others are administrators, lecturers and clinical faculty at the Southern California College of Optometry.
