Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our society! We are excited to kick of 2025 with a full slate of activities, activism, and events created with you in mind:

1. A full calendar of CE in 2025 for our OCOS members

2. A list of additional COA CE events that are free to OCOS members

3. Social events and charity walks:

• Orange County VisionWalk to fight blindness is scheduled for May 17th, 2025 at Mile Square Park, Fountain Valley.
• Summer New Grad Welcome CE & Social is scheduled for June 8th, 2025.
• Pathology Symposium – knock out a chunk of CE and glaucoma hours before fall on August 17th, 2025.
• Annual Holiday Party for our OCOS ODs and their guests will be on December 9th, 2025.

As always, if you have any friends you’d like to bring along, reach out to us and get them signed up! When they attend our October CE, they’re free—and so are you!

Our Board Members work incredibly hard to organize events, manage society business, pay bills, and engage in legislative activism. We welcome anyone interested in contributing to join the OCOS Board! We’re extremely lucky to have a group of talented and dedicated individuals who volunteer their time and energy to help build a fun and welcoming OD community in Orange County. Since we’re based in SoCal—home to several optometry schools— the doctors of Orange County often inspire the next generation through direct scholarships or indirectly by simply interacting with students at our events.
