Hello OCOS Members! Feel like giving back to those in need in your community?

Part of the OCOS public relations mission is to promote charitable events to help those in need. We are looking for volunteer Optometrists to serve.  Due to the security measures required for the Army Reserve Center, this screening  has a deadline of  August 29th for participant commitments.  We use the Lions District Sight and Hearing Van which is equipped with a slit lamp, auto refractor, tonometer, as well as an ophthalmoscope and retina scope.

There is an expectation that at least 250 Veterans will go through Health and Vision screenings during this event.  The sponsors are the members of the Harbor Mesa Lions Club with the Lions District 4L4 Sight and Hearing Van.

DATES:  Friday and Saturday, September 26th- 27th

LOCATION:  The Tustin Army Reserve Center located at the intersection of Jamboree and Barranca next to The District Shopping Center.

TIMES:  8:00 am until 4:00 pm with Volunteers doing 3 hour shifts of either 8:00 am – 11:00 am,  or 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, or1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
